@yourgenar@mastodon.top @mollyim@fosstodon.org I have two distributors on my phone, but it asks me to scan some kind of QR code. Why cant i just select one of the distributors?

@mrak@solarsystem.social @mollyim@fosstodon.org because #signal doesn't communicate itself with #UnifiedPush protocol. So you have to link your signal/ #molly account to a #mollysocket server, which will do the job to listen to your signal account and send a notif via UP when a message rings in. And then on your phone the distributor deal with this UP notif. You can set your own mollysocket server, or find a public one.
