@mollyim@fosstodon.org I have a question. Does Molly not use anything from Google, unlike Signal? I'm referring to com.android.vending (Play Services) and other Google stuff. Since I uninstalled almost everything from Google, including Play Services, from my smartphone, I'm just wondering if it can be used without anything from Google.

@iguana09863@mastodon.social @mollyim@fosstodon.org Yes, you can use Molly with Websocket or Unified Push for you system notifications, if you don't want to use Google's push notifications.
