fun fact: i put in "zero" as an option mostly as a trap because zero to the power of zero definitely isn't zero, but then i realized that if "owl emoticon" is a valid interpretation then "bitwise exclusive or" (which is how a number of programming languages including python interpret a caret) would definitely be one too. so there's really no wrong answer here
