@timbray@cosocial.ca thanks, Tim, for your thoughts. I completely disagree that someone can self identify as having a particular biological sex. I completely agree that someone can self identify as having a particular biological gender. This, it seems to me, is the confusion. Of course someone can say that they're a woman for the purposes of their social and political life. That doesn't change biology.
