To give a bit of context, I use a lot of different coloured layers for different things in a garden design (if you really want to know, you can look at my CAD template https://github.com/growdigital/template) But I have a cheap black and white laser printer, and I needed the designs on site for measuring out. There's a little button in #QCAD that enables you to print out coloured elements in black and white. Which is super cool.
