With more Canadian politicians and leadership candidates joining the #fediverse, I'm curious:
If you're torn between two candidates who both align with your values, does their fediverse presence actually influence your vote?
Or is "they're on Mastodon" just vibes that don't translate to real support?

@smattymatty@techhub.social If they are on fediverse, I will hear their messages. If not, I likely won't. I much prefer if they have a real account here, and do not just bridge from X, bsky, whatever. So, I won't just automatically vote for them if they are here. But I will at least learn their message.
