@kleptones@mastodon.social But, slightly oddly, there's an intra-track gap being introduced, which is a shame when many of your own albums are recorded for gapless playback. Is that a deliberate papercut left in place to encourage people to buy and run through their own players? :-)

@yojimbo@masto.hackers.town Yeah, same on Bandcamp and all other webpage players, sadly - getting gapless playback in a webpage is pretty much impossible, afaik, have investigated it myself on several occasions - this is why K albums are available as "single track" on playback platforms like Soundcloud & YouTube (notwithstanding copyright restrictions, hemhem). However we resisted adding a bonus "continuous mix" track on BC + SV as it bloats the download by 100% and most folks can make one if they really want one!
