@ehashman@cloudisland.nz my partner works for prpl foundation, so I've heard (bad things) about WiFi 6, and she skipped over 7, but told me that there's rumours of WiFi 8 already. I didn't realise that there's a whole rat's tail of other midlife crisis sounding stuff attached to it
