@NeoNacho@mastodon.social is your thesis here that the negative reception to GoT's final season was because they had the temerity to go for an "interesting" conclusion? Because that seems ahistorical

@nicklockwood@mastodon.social GoT did not have a safe ending that made everyone happy and I do think that was a significant part of the negative reception.
