Some keyboard justice warriors start trolling U/us for hosting an event about Crip Creativity in a building known for its unfriendliness to wheelchair users.
While some criticism carries genuine weight, the haters fail to grasp a simple fact. As the last talk at LA&M before its closure to improve accessibility, the event was a symbolic reclamation by a disabled QTPOC Sir and a neurodivergent immigrant horse, with the blessing of 45 attendees of diverse ethnicities, genders, & abilities.

There’s also a fallacious claim that all events must be streamed or recorded for accessibility less they be damned as “ableist.” There are so many holes in this sad claim, it smells like cheese and looks suspiciously blue.
