Technically this is nor taxonomy, since we aren't talking about relatedness. This is just linguistics. ::: spoiler explanation Land dwelling evolved multiple times in turtles, like in [box turtles](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_box_turtle), which are not in the clade of tortoises, but would fit the common definition of tortoise. :::
