@distractedmosfet@mastodon.gamedev.place hey, thanks for thinking of me! ๐Ÿคฉ I finally got around to installing it, but didn't get too far yet. I was wondering if it'd work on a Steam Deck and indeed it does. It wasn't even very hard to install and ran perfectly using the latest Proton version. Atmospherically I think the opening in the office is great. I like uncovering a secret message with a pencil. ๐Ÿ˜ And taking the hat to get started is a nice touch. Everything expects a mouse and keyboard though, so that's what stopped me a short way into the demo. I'll try to come up with a good mapping scheme, so I can see some more. The default mapping doesn't have a CTRL button, so that tiny hole in the wall stopped me dead. ๐Ÿคฃ I don't really get a chance to play on anything else than a Deck nowadays, as my desktop PC is in the same room where my kids sleep. But I'll see how well it runs on my work machine. It doesn't have a dedicated GPU, but maaaaaaybe, it'll be enough. I'm so happy for you that you got the demo out. I hope you're getting great feedback. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  • @irgndsondepp@gts.da-miez.de Ahh apologies. I haven't taken the dive to put any gamepad controls on it. Although I am pretty sure via the power of Steam Input it'd be be doable. Here's the keys you'd want binds for: -Escape, Space, WASD, MOUSE1, Ctrl, and Shift (for run) (the stuff you'd kind of expect) -R (Ability Menu) -F (Interact) and G (Secondary Interact, mostly used for closing rather than opening doors.) -Q and E are for leaning left and right to look around corners and are entirely optional.
