@EventOrg@ruhrpott.social Well, we are really bad at promoting our public events. We usually announce them on the blog a few weeks before, which gets replicated onto the commercial social media platforms and into the Fediverse via blog integrations, but then the poor host of the event needs to do anything else manually as good as he can or he'll be in front of empty seats.
Do you have some kind of fixed plan where you post initially? When to do follow-ups? Do you involve others to increase reach?

(If set up strategically it could replicate all your events/announcements to several federated servers readable for their communities) Followers, attendies of events, even ticket-sales can be handled automatically e. g. https://mobilize.adminforge.de/events/4af4a702-8cdb-495e-b59b-cc329a9eb810 Can make an "onboarding" session (1 h) if you and your hackspace mates want.
