I've just released version 2.0.0b1 of #recitale, a static website generator for telling your story, with pictures (and videos!). https://pypi.org/project/recitale/ This is the tool used to generate my photo blog: https://pictures.0leil.net/ It's "beta" because a "stable" release is scary, but I've been using it for years so maybe give it a try regardless :)
