While in Tbilisi I spoke to some people from Armenia, and also some travelers that had visited Yerevan there and found it interesting.
IDK what the vibes would be with the whole Iran thing right now. It's not right next to the problem, but the area has just enough cultural and geographic ties to feel "near". But they're definitely places worth seeing.

@dropbear@aus.social Georgia also has beautiful nature not far outside its cities, if you're into that. Just extremely picturesque mountains and steppe.
