@bitboxer@mastodon.social I grew up when balance bikes weren't really a thing. I learned the balance thing on an old school scooter and had training wheels on my bike for something like a day. My father mounted them so high they were practically useless and removed them the moment he saw what he wanted to see. Balance bikes made instant sense to me the moment I first saw them.
