I also do not follow news closely. My concern was more about cherry-picking data from sources you cite (https://www.iea.org/reports/energy-and-ai/ai-and-climate-change). Such things always trigger me.
And yeah, I am well-aware about climate change and understand the importance to talk about it. But, IMHO, not accurately citing facts is only damaging.
