@thejpster@hachyderm.io I'm trying to remember if the omap4 was one of the TI parts that turned on a watchdog by default. The Davinci series definitely did, and it tended to surprise people who stopped using the factory uboot and thus had to turn it off themselves. So if you try going without the bootloader and get surprise reboots, check.
