Random thought, but I find this "Stalemate" rule retarded and the only reason I can think of for it to exist is because someone decades or even centuries ago was too much of a sore loser. Chess is about outsmarting your opponent, isn't it? So if you're able to outsmart your opponent in such a way that they can't make any legal moves that wouldn't put them in check, that should count as a WIN for you, not a draw. Again, whoever came up with this rule and spread it is a sore loser. :flan_disgust:
