🐭 I got a video recommendation about "3DS Larpers" and admittedly was curious enough to watch a few minutes of it because I'd never known wtf that word actually means... quickly realized it was one of those dumb "they don't actually like _, they just do it for the trendy aesthetic" talking points. The entire duration of this video (that I actually watched, which was admittedly not much) was just the individual going "I don't have any real proof, but I can just TELL that they don't actually play games with this." and that gave me some major ick. Judging a person on a belief that you've literally just vibed out always makes my mind go to my own experiences, in this context they're just talking about a 3DS, whatever, but it just makes me think about the many times I've been targeted by hate because I gave off a "vibe". It makes me a bit sad to see that mindset applied to the way a person chooses to play with a literal toy. The most wise thing is to just look at that and go "that's stupid, I don't agree, anyways", and I will. But I first wanna just say that like... the 3DS is immensely important to me, between it and the Wii U I just don't shut up. If I'm seeing someone record a concert with a 3DS, take some artistic photo of your 3DS, give your 3DS a DIY makeover, literally anything else, I'm happy! I'm glad you're having fun!
