@rasmus91@fosstodon.org I have only vaguely used it so I am not giving it a fair evaluation, but for one not having an agent. SSH is awful. I wrote a shonky thing using SSH and py-expect in 2007 it feels very like my trying to beat that into submission... Saltstack does seem to have more power and those who know both well do seem to say that. 🤷‍♂️ ansible always felt a bit redhat NIH... but yeah maybe I'm being overly critical. Don't get me started on Saltstack and broken point releases though. So bad.
