I figured it would be something like that.
I think many people would be happy to buy an open source 3D printer that works out of the box with very minimal assembly, and little need for maintenance (dis)assembly procedures.
Similarly, I am still looking for a paper printer (ideally laser) that just works and doesn't need a subscription or corporate spyware.

@Maker_of_Things@cupoftea.social @concretedog@mastodon.social Just bought a HP laser printer, MFP 235sdw, but will not connect it to wifi, so no sneaky updates, but could not get the scanning to work on linux at first, but now works as it should. Also no subscription for ink.
