@f800gecko@mastodon.online I took part in that class action lawsuit against Equifax. Filling out the paperwork and waiting years to finally get about $8.00 that I had to load onto an electronic credit card. Then I left it there for a couple of years, basically I just forgot about it until I got an email reminder from them. So I went to use it and found that the credit card fees ate the entire value of the card. Totally my fault for not spending it immediately, but getting that reminder email from them once the cards value was depleted was really a pisser @pluralistic@mamot.fr
