When I was a child, there was hardly a day I didn't run. Running was a completely natural method of locomotion - maybe the *most* natural method. I barely walked; most of the time, I ran. And when I walked, I almost had to force myself to do so, to overcome my urge to move (and to move *fast*) and to release energy.
Nowadays, there is hardly a day I *do* run. Running has lost all of its naturalness; when I do run these days, it feels unusual, and certainly not normal and natural. And when I run, I often have to force myself to do so, to overcome my inertia.
I think the message here is pretty obvious.
