I love this haiku. It made me think of the time when my dad took us out for a walk in the rain when we were kids. My mom said, "Raincoats, boots, they'll get wet." My dad famously said, "Kids don't melt." We went out in the downpour, just as we were. We danced and splashed through puddles and got totally soaked. Came home dripping and shaking off water like puppies, and laughing ourselves silly. More than fifty years later, saying "Remember that walk in the rain?" instantly ignites that memory.

It's a pity that we often loose so much of the lightness we had in our childhood when we grow up; we rather do the "sensible" thing and stay at home when it rains instead of enjoying a simple pleasure which is right in front of us. Thanks for sharing this beautiful memory!
