I'm not an old man yet but I feel like my spirit has aged considerably from the things I've been made aware of. This reality is very imprisoning when you weigh the scope of it all and how powerless you are to avert anything. I just hope starting a family changes things on a personal, selfish level because the ever present thought that we just keep losing to power hungry pedophiles is an Atlas stone on my mind.
