I did not have the honour of knowing Dr Peter G. Neumann, who recently died at age 93. But I did have the honour of meeting him once at a conference, which was absolutely the right place to meet him. It obvious how many people revered him and were grateful for his pioneering work in computer risks and his continued presence. I cannot claim to have known Dr Neumann, but for all those who did: May his memory be a blessing.
