"Open an Old Window" is the name of this piece of #mailart for the Triangle Book Arts postcard project. It's based on a photo I took last year at Gaudí's astonishing Casa Battló in Barcelona. I wrote a poem to put on the back. "Open an old window, unbolt a curved door. Soft blossoms waft aloft. . . . How astonishing its persistence, the seasonal cycle, spring’s bright burgeoning, resisting doom." It was hard to let this one go! :-) #paperart #collageart #poem #bookart #mailart
