@mcfly@milliways.social My current car functionality is identical to when it rolled off the production line 14 years ago. What OTA updates is a modern car going to send me in the next 14 years that I am missing out on by not having a connect car? Anything critical to how the car functions that it didn't do off the production line? I doubt it. The only updates you really need are for recalls for safety or security, and manufacturers should be doing those in person for free. Or allow me to update it via USB drive.
