maybe kind of a hot take but: mobility as a service/carsharing is just as much of a scam as SaaS. everybody should be able to afford a bicycle/motorcycle/automobile/etc that they actually own and can also repair themselves. we should invest in better public transportation but there are also emergency situations (natural disasters, etc.) where public transportation cannot operate at full capacity
