Midi over USB only controllers are super easy to build nowadays!
This would definitely need more modifications and a board with more IO for something simple and powerful. Thinking of:
5 faders (speed,volume,A/B)
6 pots with half way indentation (EQ)
2 really large pots for filter movement
2 pots for effects
4 arcade buttons (cue/play)
And two encoders for trac selection (?!)

@zuggamasta@merveilles.town yeah, I've seen your project, looks really cool. I also played with DIY MIDI controllers before, I'll probably end up designing something new myself with a custom PCB
