That is, apparently 9/11 only took 6-10 years of planning [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planning_of_the_September_11_attacks ], depending on how you count their planning? That's like the about a standard game development timetable.
I'm not saying one should plan to be a terrorist or to do a terrorist attack, but I am saying that Al Qaeda apparently took less time than Duke Nukem Forever took to come out for their planning their attack.
