I'll also add that it's really hard to get people into movements and keep them there. This is a really big deal, because movements mostly win by recruiting lots and lots of people.
If your instinctive response to issues is kicking people out, you're taking a sledgehammer to your own power source.

Accusing people of being feds or saboteurs should be reserved for times when you actually have evidence that that's what they are. Booting people from activist groups should be reserved for when you don't have any other way to keep everyone safe, or you can't find any other way to keep the work moving forward.
