You've probably already discovered this, but Tailscale has a paid add-on from Mullvad that lets you establish an exit node for your Tailscale in whatever part of the world you might want an exit node. This means I can use Tailscale to connect to things at home, but can also use it as I would a more traditional VPN to connect from different areas geographically. https://tailscale.com/mullvad
