I had an english teacher in high school who confessed she loved the sound of breaking glass. She said she'd break something in the sink, because it was easier to clean up.
She was cool.
She once saw my older bro come out of the local arcade/pool place near where we lived. A year later she signed his yearbook:
"James! I am shocked to find out you hang out in POOL HALLS!"
