Remember my somewhat famous blog article about the "Design Conductor" paper being bunk? It's been more than a month since I wrote that, and more than 3 months since it was published on arXiv... and we still have no code release. As I wrote in that blog, a lot of critiques of that paper could be cleared up if they release the RTL. Why aren't they? It's an interesting question. When you read the paper you get the impression the core was crazy good and ready to go :blobcatthinking: It does make me wonder whether more of this paper is fake somehow. Was the core even designed?? Maybe the GDS screenshots are of an existing CPU??
