Because of the plague, we're home schooling. Getting through some maths work (based on the national curriculum) with my 10 year old, and there's already some equations (eg. 100 - 43 = 85 - x ) sprinkled in there. I don't remember doing these until Year 8 or 9. Does anyone remember when they did these at school?
