@iooioio@fosstodon.org thank you! my time using Scuttlebutt was honestly really profound. i joined during the lockdown era which, despite its challenges, really opened up space for a particularly unique, deep experience. people were so welcoming there, and i really appreciated the amount of creativity & depth of the conversations. it also really felt like you could participate without being a programmer, which was huge to me. when the pandemic started to subside, many people using ssb drifted away, including myself. i continued to check in from time to time, but eventually my computer died, and i got caught up in lots of other offline things. i still think very fondly of the scuttleverse though, and am happy to see that people are still hanging out there. i had been previously curious about the fediverse as well, but never gave it a proper chance until 100R invited me to join. feels like the right time to explore these spaces :^)
