@nilesjohnson@mathstodon.xyz @11011110@mathstodon.xyz I'm fairly sure it's straive because I had to deal with them as both editor (Springer) and author (CUP, OUP). Oddly I don't recall them as being noticeably worse than the rest of what I have experienced since 2021, but perhaps I have been worn down by literal decades of dealing with such things.
