I'm kinda amazed that Noctua is just sending me free mounting hardware for an 8 year old socket so I can use my 15 year old heatsink on it. I know that's their promise, but I was half expecting them to behave like most companies would and try to weasel out of it, or at least make the process needlessly difficult. Super cool. Now I feel kinda guilty about not buying any Noctua stuff when I built my computer at the beginning of the year, but it's all so expensive, and I couldn't bring myself to spend more on fans than I did on the entire case! Well, I need a new fan for the cooler anyways, so maybe I'll get a Noctua one out of appreciation.
