As opposed to either portable markdown where you also have to just use text & hack your own tools (I do a lot with sed, awk, or python over md files), or all UI (but also programmable, tho shortcuts isn't as good as applescript was 10+ years ago): https://www.omnigroup.com/omnioutliner/
