So like, I notice a LOT of people are against this age verification crap. But is just seem like everyone is running around like cockroaches panicking. Is there going to be an organized push back against this from the open source community and anyone else who doesn't want this?

@Froogal@derg.social For now I see the reaction isn't uniform. Some distros are pretty open to uniform, and these are mostly the corporate driven like Ubuntu and Red Hat, while other projects or declared their stand against, or they are more into "let's see what happens". Also the issue in US is still open, like Colorado has amended to exempt open source project from their bill. But still, if really FOSS would stand for users, I would like something more from some player than "let's hope".
