@bird@birdbox.party I've also been looking into this. It appears to be bots, with full-blown browsers that are requesting /tags/, which loads the full page, which they likely scrape. I've put a quick block in place, so they aren't getting what they want from my instance, and am considering what else I could do... Poison the well (give them bogus data)? Feed them an Anubis page with an impossibly difficult challenge to spin their CPU for a while? Since they're a full browser, I could 302 the initial request to anywhere (maybe a large file download or Tencent's TOS page)?
