*go to gitlab.com to file a MR against a FOSS project* Before the content has loaded and page is still a blank white page, I see the page title in the tab bar: "Finally, AI for the entire s…" My first thought is that I've made a typo and ended up on a spam domain (and my adblocker is protecting me from the content loading). But no, the URL is correct, a marketing landing page eventually loads, and I am left contemplating how the fuck shoving AI no one wants in our faces is the latest in a long series of actions that leave me bewildered that everyone considers GitLab the biggest threat to GitHub. Given how sloppy it is, how is no one doing better? How is this the most popular thing? (Segway into Forgejo appreciation post?) #GitLab #AISlop
