#LLM #agenticai Struggling constantly with the entertaining AI “‘magic” vs the skepticism about the costs vs real life benefits. Have to keep reminding myself that a magician producing a rabbit from a hat is not going to solve animal extinction, for example.

@yth@mstdn.social The main problem of humanity today is not the lack of technology. The problem is chaos, ambiguity, and unreliable information. Corruption, nepotism, wars, massive inefficiency, and enormous waste of energy and resources all survive where reality cannot be verified precisely. Only 100% accurate information can push inefficiency into a corner, give us a chance to preserve the planet, and open the path to real scientific breakthroughs.
