#Fairphone made their product intentionally worse by reducing the EQ options for the Fairbuds to a 5 band EQ. The #Fairbuds don't sound great from the factory but I found a good EQ profile on Reddit when I got them. Now I saw there was an update to the companion app, I checked the eq and it immideately applied the flat eq, and with the lousy 5 Band EQ it was impossible to make them even sound ok to my ears. 1/2
