Imo SA2 is overrated and SA1 aged better.

Its my bias. I played them both but grew up with 2. I'll admit it tho. They're both great imo.

Have you tried the BetterSADX mod on PC? It's freakin' incredible! Makes SA1 even better. Hell, I tried SA2 with mods and I still bounced off it.
