@allpurposemat@mastodon.gamedev.place that green location tracker icon drove me crazy too. Especially when you're watching a movie and it keeps bugging you. I vaguely remember that I managed to "fix" it on GrapheneOS, but I can't remember what I did. 🫠 I just looked at my settings and it's not listing anything accessing my location recently. And I can't see any setting there that I might have changed. 🤔 Hold on... I just double checked. I think Syncthing is what bothered me and the notification went away once I allowed it to "always" use location services, not only when the app was running. Anyway, I'm not trying to draw you back to Android. I'm worried about the same things you mentioned in your post and I really hope that we'll get a viable (as in "I can do everything with one device") alternative soon.
