@alahmnat@woof.tech Yeah manually placing vertices is probably what you want here. In object edit mode (with an empty mesh or whatever), you can place the 3d cursor somewhere and add a vertex there. Move to your second spot, drop another vertex. Select them both and hit F to fill (in this case, making an edge instead).
How you'd get a perpendicular angle is a bit more tricky. I don't have blender in front of me but I think? the way to do this is to select your new edge (switch to edge mode), and at the top of viewport is an axis reference menu (global, local, normal, etc). You can make a new axis reference on your edge, and then when you extrude one of your vertices you can Shift-Z to lock it into the xy plane (or whichever axis). And that would let you make a free rotated box but keep it perpendicular
