@wildrose@mastodon.gamedev.place Yeah, you need to do it incrementally or disable the PPU. If you are clearing the screen that’s sort of best case anyway since you probably want the screen to go black anyway?

@slembcke@mastodon.gamedev.place Yeah that's literally what I want it to do, make the screen go blank and start drawing the entire nametable. So uh... how do i disable the ppu?
